What is Google Workspace?

Google Workspace is Google's subscription suite of communication and productivity apps for organisations, formerly known as G Suite. Every plan gives a business email address on its own domain together with Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Chat and Meet, the Docs, Sheets and Slides editors, and Forms and Sites. Gemini, Google's AI assistant, is integrated into the apps to help write emails and documents, analyse spreadsheet data, summarise files and take meeting notes, and the suite also includes the Gemini app, Gemini Notebook for research, Vids for video creation, AppSheet for no-code apps and Workspace Studio for automations. Storage is pooled across the organisation, from 30 GB per user on the entry plan up to 5 TB. Four business editions are sold, named Starter, Standard, Plus and Enterprise, and the first three are limited to 300 users. All plans can be tried free for 14 days.

Starter has Gemini in Gmail and basic access to the Gemini app, while Gemini in Docs, Sheets, Meet and other apps starts at Standard.
