Visit cursor.com Official pricing

Cursor is an AI coding agent and editor. Cursor is used by describing a development task in plain language; the agent then explores the codebase, proposes a plan and makes the changes for review. Cursor runs as a desktop app, a terminal CLI and cloud agents, connects to Slack and GitHub, and has a free Hobby plan.

Best for Developers and engineering teams who want to delegate implementation and review work to agents while keeping control of the decisions.

What is Cursor?

Cursor is an AI coding agent delivered as a desktop editor, a command-line tool and cloud-hosted agents. A developer describes a task, and the agent reads the codebase, drafts a plan, edits files and reports back for review. Cloud agents run on their own machines, so several can work in parallel, test what they build and return a recorded walkthrough. The same agent can be reached from Slack, and Bugbot reviews pull requests on GitHub. Users pick the model per task from providers including OpenAI, Anthropic and Gemini, or use Cursor's own Composer model. Further pieces include automations, a marketplace for rules, skills and plugins, MCP support and a mobile surface. Plans are Hobby, Individual, Teams and Enterprise, with a privacy mode that keeps code out of training. The legal entity named in the footer is Anysphere, Inc.

Key Features

Cloud Agents

Run remotely in parallel on separate machines, building and testing features end to end before handing over a summary.

Cursor CLI

Brings the agent to the terminal, installed with a single shell command.

Model Choice

Lets you select among models from several AI labs or leave selection on Auto.

Bugbot Code Review

Performs agentic reviews of pull requests in GitHub, billed by usage on individual plans.
