Seaweed Script is a brush script in which the lowercase letters join along a slanted baseline. The outlines are deliberately uneven: edges wobble and stroke ends break off bluntly, as when a half-dry brush drags over rough paper. Strokes are fairly heavy with little contrast, the capitals are simple forms with an occasional loop, as in S and A, and the t has a long crossbar that sweeps over its neighbours. The official notes present the face as a rustic script for tropical, beachside themes. The family has one Regular style and is not a variable font. Its 228 glyphs cover the basic Latin set. The designer is Dave 'Squid' Cohen of Neapolitan; the copyright notice names Font Diner, of which Neapolitan is a trading name, and the license is the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
