Felt-tip lettering by Marck Fogel turned into a slanted script whose letters do not join, so it can be letterspaced.

Script 1 style by Denis Masharov OFL

Marck Script is a script typeface by Denis Masharov based on freehand felt-tip lettering by Marck Fogel. Its slanted letters are not connected, so spacing can be tightened or opened freely. About Marck Script

Marck Script is a script typeface drawn from freehand lettering made with a felt-tip pen by Marck Fogel and digitised by Denis Masharov. The strokes swell and thin as a soft pen tip would, the whole alphabet leans to the right, and the capitals carry loops and sweeping entry strokes, as the specimen shows. Unlike most scripts of this kind, the lowercase letters end in short exit strokes that do not reach the next letter. The official notes present this as the main difference: with no joins to break, the space between letters can be varied widely. The family has a single Regular font, without bold or italic, and contains 445 glyphs in the Latin, Latin Extended and Cyrillic subsets. It is intended for logotypes, headlines and short passages where an informal, confident tone is wanted.

Where Marck Script works

Logotypes and shop signs
Loose, pen-drawn capitals give a name the look of a signature, and the unjoined letters can be spaced to fit a given width.
Headlines with adjusted tracking
Because no letter connects to the next, a headline can be tracked out or tightened without visible gaps in the joins.
Invitations and menus
Swelling felt-tip strokes are warmer than a formal copperplate hand and suit informal dinners, cafes and family events.
Russian and Ukrainian lettering
The Cyrillic subset follows the same pen movement, so bilingual signage and packaging can use one script.
