About Bilbo Swash Caps

Bilbo Swash Caps is a script typeface in the style of quick italic writing with a flexible pen. The lowercase is narrow, compact and slanted, with pointed joins and letters that mostly stand apart instead of linking. The capitals are where the family differs from its sister Bilbo: each starts with a long sweeping stroke from the left or carries an extended crossbar, as the B, S and A of the specimen show, and they stand well above the small lowercase. Numerals are slanted and loosely drawn in the same hand. The font has a single Regular style and 248 glyphs covering basic Latin with Western European accents. TypeSETit holds the copyright, and the name table lists Robert E. Leuschke as designer. The official notes recommend it for headlines and display work.
