BioRhyme is a slab serif family for the Latin script designed by Aoife Mooney. Its letters are broad, with serifs drawn as flat rectangular blocks almost as thick as the stems, and the specimen shows a few idiosyncratic shapes: a z whose top stroke bends like a wave, curly braces that wriggle, and a Q with a tail that crosses the bowl. The family once existed as two separate families, a normal and an expanded width. According to the official notes it was reworked in September 2023 into one variable font with two axes, weight from 200 to 800 and width from 100 to 125. Seven named weights run from ExtraLight to ExtraBold, with no italics. The single variable file holds 494 glyphs for Latin and Latin Extended and is published under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

Suggestions come from simple rules on the records: a contrasting classification and enough weights to carry body text. They are a starting point, not a verdict.
Download the family and host the files on your own site, then declare them in CSS. Please do not link to the files on trendhub.net: preview files here are subsets and their addresses change.
