About Clicker Script

Clicker Script is a script typeface written in a fine line of almost constant thickness. The lowercase letters join through looping connectors, ascenders such as l, k and h are tall open loops, and the x-height is small, so words look airy and wide. Capitals start with curls and spirals; C, S and G wind in on themselves before the stroke moves on. Letters sit at slightly different heights, which produces the bounce mentioned in the official description. That description traces the style to the lettering of a 1960s stereo record series. The family is a single Regular style with 372 glyphs across the Latin and Latin Extended subsets, and it is not variable. It is credited to Astigmatic, and the description names Jim Lyles and Brian J. Bonislawsky as the people who drew it.

Where Clicker Script works

Wedding stationery
Curled capitals open the names on invitations and place cards, and the thin line prints cleanly at large sizes.
Mid-century themed design
The model is 1960s sleeve lettering, which fits retro party invitations, playlists and cover art.
Boutique and bakery logos
A single joined word in a fine line works as a signature-style wordmark on packaging and shopfronts.
Quotes on cards and social posts
A short phrase set large keeps the loops and connectors visible.
