What is GPTExcel?

GPTExcel is an AI spreadsheet assistant that works in a web browser, so Excel does not need to be installed. Users upload an Excel workbook, a CSV or TSV file, or an image of a table, then ask a question or describe what they want built. The chat can return an answer, a formula with an explanation, a chart, a native Excel pivot table with slicers, a written summary, or a slide deck exported as PowerPoint or PDF. Separate generators write formulas for four targets (Excel, Airtable, Google Sheets and LibreOffice Calc), scripts in VBA, Apps Script and Python, SQL queries and regular expressions. For newly released Excel and Sheets functions, the chat consults the vendors' official documentation before replying. Plans are Free, Pro and Pro Plus, each with a credit allowance and file-size limits.
