Yeseva One is a display serif built on a sharp contrast between very thick stems and hairline connecting strokes. In the specimen the bowls are full and round, the serifs are thin and flat, and letters such as a, c, f, r and y finish in teardrop-shaped terminals; the figures share the same swelling curves. Jovanny Lemonad designed the face and, in the official notes, presents it as a feminine display type dedicated to his wife. He explains the name as the phrase "Yes, Eva", meant as a sign of agreement between a man and a woman. The family is one Regular style without italic, and it is not variable. Its 665 glyphs cover the Latin, Latin Extended, Cyrillic, extended Cyrillic and Vietnamese subsets, so the same headline style is available for Russian, Ukrainian and Bulgarian as well as Western and Central European languages.
