Oxanium is a display family built on squared shapes. In the specimen the bowls of O, D and a are boxes with one or more corners sliced off at an angle, the strokes are even, and the lowercase n and m have flat tops. The numerals follow the same construction, which gives rows of figures a uniform, instrument-like look. Severin Meyer designed the family; the official notes picture it on a spaceship's head-up display or a video game scoreboard, and say the simple strokes keep it legible at small sizes while the cut corners show in large headlines.
