Krona One is a semi-extended sans serif: its round letters are stretched into broad ovals, and capitals such as C, G and O are wider than they are tall. Stroke thickness changes very little, and the lowercase is large in relation to the capitals. A few details break the regularity. W and w are drawn with crossing middle strokes, J drops below the baseline, and y ends in a curved tail. The official description traces such shapes to hand lettering on Swedish posters of the early twentieth century. Yvonne Schüttler designed Krona One, and the copyright is held by Sorkin Type Co. The family is one Regular font with 424 glyphs for the Latin and Latin Extended character sets, and it is not a variable font. Krona One is published under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
