Fira Sans Extra Condensed is a humanist sans serif squeezed into very narrow proportions, the tightest of the three widths in which the Fira family is offered. The Fira typefaces were made to match the character of Mozilla's Firefox OS and to stay legible on phones whose screens differ in quality and rendering. In the specimen the letters keep open apertures and a tall lowercase despite the compression, and stroke thickness stays nearly even. The family ships as static files: Thin 100 to Black 900, upright and italic, 18 styles. Each font holds 2,677 glyphs with Latin, Cyrillic, Greek and Vietnamese character sets. The project is led by Carrois; the name table inside the font credits Carrois Corporate and Edenspiekermann AG, and the license notice names The Mozilla Foundation and Telefonica S.A.
Latin and Latin Extended characters in the preview subset; the complete family has 2,677 glyphs.
The family contains the core letters these languages are written with:
Writing systems with glyphs in the family besides Latin: Cyrillic, Greek. These are listed as scripts, not as a promise for every language written in them.
Character sets found in the files: cyrillic, cyrillic-ext, greek, greek-ext, latin, latin-ext, vietnamese. The language list is a check of required letters against the font, not a promise of typographic quality in each language.

Suggestions come from simple rules on the records: a contrasting classification and enough weights to carry body text. They are a starting point, not a verdict.
Download the family and host the files on your own site, then declare them in CSS. Please do not link to the files on trendhub.net: preview files here are subsets and their addresses change.
