Klap

AI tool that cuts long videos into captioned vertical clips for TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts.

Klap is an AI video tool that converts long recordings into short vertical clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. Klap is used by pasting a YouTube link or uploading a file; the AI picks the most interesting topics, reframes the picture around the speaker, adds subtitles and scores each clip, ready to edit, export or schedule.

Best for Creators and teams with spoken-word long-form video, such as podcasts, interviews and tutorials, who want to publish short clips regularly.

What is Klap?

Klap is a clip generator that repurposes long-form video for short-form platforms. After you upload a file or paste a YouTube link, its AI identifies the topics most likely to hold attention and edits each into a separate vertical clip. Reframing keeps the main subject in view, and a newer AI Reframe 2 mode analyses scenes and chooses layouts such as split screen, screencast or gaming. Clips come with styled subtitles, a suggested caption for the post and a score estimating their potential. Fonts, colours, logos and framing can be customised before exporting, and clips can be published or scheduled to TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn from inside the tool. Klap transcribes and edits in 52 languages and works on speech-heavy footage in particular, because topic detection relies on spoken words. An API is also offered. The product is run by ZIGG SAS.
