Uncial Antiqua is a display typeface that brings two early pen hands, uncial and half-uncial, into a single formal alphabet. The capitals keep rounded uncial shapes: D leans back with a curved stem, E and M are built from bowls, and A opens with a long stroke to the left. In the lowercase, n and r take small-capital forms, t has a curved stem, and a is a single round bowl. Strokes swell and thin as a broad pen would make them and end in wedge-shaped serifs; the figures are old-style, with 3, 4, 5, 7 and 9 dropping below the baseline. The family has one Regular style with 371 glyphs for Latin and Latin Extended. It is credited to Astigmatic and published under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
