Titillium Web is a sans serif family with squared curves: the bowls of b, d, o and p have flattened sides and tight corners, which gives lines of text a technical, engineered rhythm. Strokes are even in thickness and the letters are slightly narrow. The typeface began as a teaching project in the type design course of the Campi Visivi master's programme in visual design at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Urbino, where about twelve students a year took the work further. The official credits name Luciano Perondi for design and curation and Diego Giusti for the first prototype. The family has six weights, ExtraLight, Light, Regular, SemiBold, Bold and Black, supplied as static files; Black has no italic, the other five do. Each font contains 410 glyphs for Latin and Latin Extended, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
