Niramit is a sans serif family that covers the Thai and Latin scripts. The Latin letters are plain and low in contrast but carry small ornaments: the capital N starts with a short flag at its top left, the apex of A is rounded over into a bump, and the lowercase a is a single-storey form ending in an upturned tail. According to the official description, the Thai letters have a modern structure yet keep the traditional loops. The family has six weights, ExtraLight, Light, Regular, Medium, SemiBold and Bold, with an italic for each, delivered as static fonts; it is not a variable font. Each holds 772 glyphs spanning Thai, Latin, Latin Extended and Vietnamese. The listing credits Cadson Demak, and the name table gives Katatrad Aksorn Co., Ltd. as designer. The license is the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
