Lilita One is a fat-faced display typeface drawn by Juan Montoreano for headlines and short pieces of text. The specimen shows very heavy strokes with softened corners, counters reduced to small openings, and letters a little narrower than a regular width, so several heavy words still fit on a line. Both capitals and lowercase are present, and details such as the angled cuts on the stems and the curved leg of the a keep the shapes from looking mechanical. The family is a single font file, labelled Regular although it is as dark as a black weight, with 228 glyphs. Its character set covers the Latin subset, enough for English, French, German, Spanish and the Nordic languages. The license is the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
