Blinker is a sans serif typeface whose basic shape is the squircle, a square with rounded corners. The bowls of o, b, d and p have flattened sides and tight corners instead of circular curves, stroke thickness barely changes within a letter, and terminals are cut straight. The official notes recommend it for medium and large text more than for long passages. This package holds eight static weights: Thin 100, ExtraLight 200, Light 300, Regular 400, SemiBold 600, Bold 700, ExtraBold 800 and Black 900. There are no italics, and the family is not a variable font. In the specimen the Black weight sits tighter and has a taller x-height than the weights below it. Each font contains 457 glyphs for the Latin and Latin Extended character sets. Juergen Huber designed Blinker at supertype in 2019, and it is published under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

Suggestions come from simple rules on the records: a contrasting classification and enough weights to carry body text. They are a starting point, not a verdict.
Download the family and host the files on your own site, then declare them in CSS. Please do not link to the files on trendhub.net: preview files here are subsets and their addresses change.
