Anton SC is a display typeface that the official notes describe as the small-caps version of Anton. Anton itself reworks an advertising sans of the traditional kind: the letterforms were digitised, the counters opened a little and the stems adjusted so that the face holds up as bold display type in web browsers. The specimen shows very dark, tall and narrow letters with flat sides, tight spacing and small slits for counters, so a long line takes little width. Anton SC is a single Regular file and is not a variable font. Its 1,326 glyphs are many for a one-style family, and they extend to Latin Extended, African Latin and Vietnamese. Vernon Adams is credited as the designer, and the copyright notice names The Anton Project Authors. The license is the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
