SUBJECTS: Emma @ image1, dark brown slightly wavy low ponytail, wearing a pink adventure jacket, off white T shirt, green cargo shorts, chunky sneakers, adventure backpack. Jake @ image2, dark brown fluffy short hair, wearing a green adventure jacket, off white T shirt, brown cargo shorts, chunky sneakers, adventure backpack. ENVIRONMENT: Nighttime tropical jungle ruins. A narrow moss covered stone path runs through the jungle. On the right is a large area of tall broadleaf plants and high grass, connected to a pitch black area with no visible interior behind the plants. On the left are tall damp stone pillars. STYLE: Digital painting look. Large simplified color blocks, hard edge brushwork, low detail structure, heavy shadows, visible hand painted texture. No realistic 3D look, no commercial CG ad look, no polished realism. SHOT 1: Low angle tracking shot, 24mm, slow backward subtle handheld / Emma walks along the damp stone path, flashlight sweeping across the jungle and broken stone pillars on both sides. She quietly calls, “Jake?” After a pause, she calls again, “Jake?” As she says “where are you,” rustling leaves are heard from the darkness behind her. Emma stops and turns back, flashlight beam moving across the plants and stone path / SFX: insects, wet footsteps, distant wind, rustling leaves SHOT 2: Cut to POV. First person view, 24mm, slight handheld shake / Flashlight sweeps across the jungle behind her, cold white light passing over wet tree trunks, broken stone pillars, and tall grass. Movement appears on the surface of the tall plants on the right. Emma points the flashlight there. The beam stays on the outer leaves while behind the plants remains dark / SFX: breathing, wet leaves rubbing, reduced insects SHOT 3: Cut. Inside plant view, 50mm, static low angle / Jake is hidden inside the tall broadleaf plants, layers of plants blocking the stone path. Emma’s flashlight occasionally hits the outer leaves but never reaches inside. Jake steps on dry leaves with his shoe, nudges the plant edges with a branch, covering his mouth while holding back laughter toward Emma’s direction / SFX: soft leaf crunches, branch hitting leaves, breathing SHOT 4: Continuous lateral move, 50mm, slow side movement / Jake keeps nudging the plant edges, surrounding leaves continue shaking. In the dark area behind him, a deep black wet tentacle crawls forward along the ground, slowly approaching Jake’s feet. Jake keeps looking toward Emma without turning around / SFX: reduced insects, wet scraping, distant breathing SHOT 5: Semi handheld push in, 35mm, slow forward move / The tentacle wraps around Jake’s ankle. Jake looks down as his body is dragged toward the dark area behind him. He grabs a nearby branch, bending it downward while surrounding plants keep shaking. Emma’s position is blocked by the tall plants / SFX: plants rubbing, heavy breathing, branch bending, dragging SHOT 6: Cut. Darkness POV, 40mm, slow pull back / The branch snaps. Jake is dragged deeper into the dark area. He looks into the darkness ahead, smile disappearing, reaching toward Emma while weakly saying “Em—” and “…ma…”. The voice comes from behind the plants, then disappears. Jake vanishes into the darkness behind the plants / SFX: branch snapping, “Em…ma…”, plants dragging SHOT 7: Static shot, 50mm / The tall plants slowly return to normal where Jake disappeared, layers of leaves covering the area again. Wind moves the wet leaves until only the plants and darkness remain / SFX: wind through leaves, scattered insects, silence
