## About KoHo

KoHo is a sans serif family for Thai and Latin, drawn to stand between geometric and humanist sans serifs so that it looks neither mechanical nor calligraphic. In the Latin specimen the round letters are squared at the shoulders, giving o, c and e the outline of a rounded rectangle; the K joins its arm and leg in one bent stroke, and y ends in a short flat hook. Strokes are even and the capitals are wide. The family has six weights, ExtraLight 200, Light, Regular, Medium, SemiBold and Bold 700, each with an italic: 12 static files in total, not a variable font. Its 774 glyphs cover Thai, Latin, Latin Extended and Vietnamese. The catalogue credits Cadson Demak, the name table reads Cadson Demak & Katatrad Team, and the license is the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

## Where it works

- **Thai and English interfaces**: Both scripts are designed together, so menus and labels keep one texture when the language switches.
- **Body text with emphasis**: Italics exist for all six weights, which lets running text mark titles and stress without a second family.
- **Product and brand headings**: The squared curves and the bent K give short headlines a recognisable shape in SemiBold or Bold.
- **Light display lines**: ExtraLight 200 draws the rounded-rectangle forms as a fine outline for large titles.
- **Vietnamese content**: A Vietnamese character set is part of the 774 glyphs, alongside Latin Extended.

## Things to know

- **Twelve separate files**: KoHo is distributed as static fonts, one per weight and style. Load only the ones a page uses.
- **Bold is the heaviest**: The range stops at 700; there is no ExtraBold or Black.
- **Thai is the primary script**: The family is made for Thai with Latin alongside. No Cyrillic or Greek subset is listed.
