What is AI Exporter Hub?

AI Exporter Hub is a browser extension for Chrome that copies conversations out of AI chat services and into durable formats. It works with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Genspark, Grok and Perplexity, and it can write the results to a Notion database, to portable Markdown that also suits Obsidian, or to PDF documents. Users can export the chat currently open, a full supported history, a hand-picked set found through search, or platform collections such as Projects, Gems, Hubs and Spaces. Where the source service still provides them, attachments, generated files, images, code and citations travel with the transcript. Markdown and PDF files are produced inside the browser, while Notion syncing happens only after the user connects and selects their own workspace. Long jobs can be paced with delays, monitored, cancelled and retried item by item. The product is offered with a Pro upgrade and is made by Aluo.

Wichtigste Funktionen

Multi-platform chat export

Pulls conversations from Perplexity, Grok, Claude, Gemini, Genspark and ChatGPT within one extension instead of separate tools per service.

Selective and bulk modes

Lets users search a loaded conversation list, tick specific records, or load a full supported history before starting a batch job.

Collection-aware export

Exports conversations grouped in ChatGPT, Claude and Grok Projects, Gemini Gems and Spark, Genspark Hubs, and Perplexity Spaces, with separate modes for ChatGPT group and archived chats.

Notion database output

Creates structured Notion pages with source URL, timestamps, message counts and uploaded files, turning readable text, code, JSON, HTML and SVG assets into child pages where useful.

Markdown sidecars and PDF themes

Saves images and attachments in folders next to Markdown notes with rewritten local links, and produces PDFs with embedded images plus light, dark and eye-care themes.

Job control for large archives

Offers configurable delays, progress tracking, cancellation, retries of failed items, skipping of earlier exports and clean stopping when a platform rate limits requests.

So funktioniert AI Exporter Hub

  1. Sign in to the AI service

Open a supported assistant such as Claude or Perplexity in Chrome, log in, and leave that tab open so the extension can read conversations.

  2. Pick what to export

Select the current chat, a full history, specific conversations, or a collection like a Project, Gem, Hub or Space.

  3. Set the destination

Choose Notion, Markdown, Obsidian-ready Markdown or PDF and adjust folders, filename patterns, duplicate handling and media options.

  4. Start and track the job

Run the export, watch progress for items and attachments, cancel if needed, and retry only the records that failed.

  5. Check the results

Open the output folder or Notion database to confirm message order, links, metadata, media and any warnings.

Anwendungsfälle

Building a research knowledge base
A researcher moves Perplexity threads, including citations and research documents, into a Notion database for team reference.
Local backup of chat history
A developer archives an entire Claude or ChatGPT history as Markdown files stored in a Git repository or Obsidian vault.
Review documents for stakeholders
A consultant exports selected Gemini conversations to PDF to share as readable review packets with clients.
Saving project context
A product team preserves conversations from ChatGPT Projects so the discussion stays grouped by project after export.
Collecting generated images and files
A designer bulk downloads ChatGPT Library images and files with filters and an offline HTML index for later use.

Gut zu wissen

Source tab must stay open
Exports depend on an open, signed-in tab of the original AI platform; refreshing it after installation or switching accounts is recommended.
Asset availability is controlled by the platform
Expired, deleted or otherwise unavailable images and files cannot be retrieved if the source service no longer returns them.
Notion needs authorization
Notion export works only after connecting your own workspace and choosing a database the integration can access.
Collection export is not a full settings backup
Exporting conversations from Projects, Gems, Hubs or Spaces does not save every collection setting or source file, and native PPTX output is not provided for Genspark presentations.
